CANCELLED: K-Y2 Grandparents Day

We extend a warm invitation to all families to attend our Grandparents Open Morning at our Early Childhood campus.

The Open Morning will consist of a range of activities across the campus which children are invited to engage in with their Grandparents. The children will be provided with a suggested checklist of activities which they can use to guide their Grandparents on a tour of the various facilities and activities on offer.

The morning will commence with our regular Fitness Friday activities. Our ‘Coffee at the College’ facility will be available from 8.20am – 9.00am for any family members who may wish to purchase a coffee.

We request that parents please outline the parking restrictions around the Marian Campus with any Grandparents that intend to attend.

CANCELLED: ACC Swimming Carnival

The ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Inter-School Swim Team will compete in the A Division ACC Carnival. A confirmation email will be sent to all parents and guardians whose children are in the team.

All team members are required to arrive at the College at 7.00am on the day of the carnival and assemble in the pool area. The team will be addressed by Mr Finneran and transported to the Stadium at 7.45am. The students will return to the College for a normal 3.15pm dismissal.

Unfortunately, not everyone will swim on the day, as some students will be in the team as reserves.

All team members must be in full College Sports Uniform for the Carnival and must have College bathers to compete in. These are available from the College Uniform shop. Boys have the option of wearing the College blue racing skins.

There will be no canteen facilities for the team, so each member must bring their lunch, water bottle and any other food required for the day.

Parents are welcome to attend the day as spectators. The program of events will be published closer to the day.

CANCELLED: IPSHA Swimming Carnival

Selected students in Years 3-6 will compete in the annual IPSHA Interschool Swimming Carnival.

There are no shields or points awarded. The Carnival is about giving students the opportunity to compete against students from other primary schools, promoting fun and enjoyment, encouraging everyone to participate and highlight the importance of fair play and healthy competition.

Spectators are welcome!

Years 7-12 Guild Cross Country Carnival

The Years 7-12 Guild Cross Country Carnival is a compulsory event for all students. When students are not running, they will be attending class as normal.

The timetable below indicates when each year group will be running during the day.

  • Period 1 – Year 12
  • Period 2 – Year 11
  • Period 3 – Year 10
  • Period 4 – Year 9
  • Period 5 – Year 7
  • Period 6 – Year 8

The following information will help the students in preparing for the day:

  1. Students are to wear their Guild uniform on the day
  2. Students will need to bring a hat for the period (they are not expected to run in the hat, but prior to and after the event they will)
  3. Sun cream will be provided for the students
  4. Students can bring their own water bottle for before and after the event
