Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools and Colleges 2020
Entries are now being accepted for the 31st Annual Performing Arts Festival for Catholic Schools and Colleges and we encourage students in Years 4-12 to participate in this event. Please register your interest by completing the Expression of Interest form and returning the form to our Music Coordinator, Miss Ashlyn La Cava or emailed to Ashlyn.lacava@newman.wa.edu.au by Monday聽13 April.

CANCELLED: Year 6 Tinkering
Tinkering is the Year 6 DDT/STEM activity where students are challenged to take a non-working electrical appliance, take it apart and label the parts both inside and out.
Parents, especially dads and granddads with their tools, are encouraged to attend in the morning to assist. The parents/helpers will be given tea and coffee at morning tea in appreciation for their assistance.
After recess, the students create their own natural disaster detector prototype from the electrical pieces they collected from their appliance and present to the class what their detector is for and how it works.
Herbert Edwards Tennis Cup
The Herbert Edwards Cup forms part of the competition series run by Tennis West and School Sport WA State Championship for schools. Students in Years 7-9 will compete.

In this session, Dr Coulson will share his expertise and equip parents to become more emotionally intelligent when it comes to their child.

Inside the Mind 鈥� Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Child is a presentation for parents to get to the heart of parenting. Or, more specifically, it鈥檚 to help parents get to their children鈥檚 hearts. How do we really understand our child? What is really happening inside their mind? This powerful presentation will change the way you communicate with your child.
The presentation will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
